I have been asked to change it by multiple people, threatened to be banned, and am muted for 7 days, because it's "racist". *Side Note* I don't understand how muting me solves the problem lmao

I do not think it is racist, and I think it's idiotic to think otherwise, i'm sure if my name was "RealCracker" no one would bat an eye, and that's a double standard and that's not right. People who constantly try to censor every single word, action, and idea that could possibly offend someone are the reason people are so easily offended, not allowing me to say or have the word in my name just gives power to the word and allows it to continue bothering people, exposure kills meaning, no one says faggot and means a cigar, no one says gay and means happy, no one say nigg(a) and means (er).

I have grown up calling my friends, family, and random kids on the internet, "nigga", and personally, I think I'm a pretty real nigga, I be NO MEANS find this word or anyone who uses it racist in ANY way.

I do not want to change my name, but, if asked by a staff member, I will change it, but I will definetly be salty.

I know this poll won't decide if I have to change my name or not, but lemme know what ya'll think, am I a dirty racist?

It's as simple as certain people are offended by the word so therefore it's not allowed. There isn't a server in existence with a sizable player base that allows the use of racist words.

It's not really a debatable issue - it is a controversial topic though but not something you change. I don't personally think its racist whatsoever and say it myself frequently with many friends but the issue at hand is the server itself has the rule in place for years as does every other server on this game.

You should be used to this by now tbh. Just pick a different word lmao.

I mean the line is as follows - If a single person is offended by it, it makes it racist. While I PERSONALLY agree that it isn't racist and 99% of the minecraft community use it, few people find it offensive therefore its controversial so it isn't allowed. Not to mention it's against the Minecraft Server EULA and a whole bunch of other shit it's just not worth the hassle of making it an Ok word to use on a game meant for 6-year-olds.

Like yeah most of us are teens and early 20's but this game is still mostly for children.

It's quite clear that saying that word may come into offence with a different player. The word has been counted as "Racist" on many servers and will stay that way. Saying the word will result in a punishment as its still break a rule. So i hope you understand its best NOT to say it and move on then actually argue or question the server rules.
